Well I had a hankering for a Panzerotti, and this place hit the spot this afternoon. Crispy fried exterior, soft doh on the inside, and a juicy and beautiful filling.
If I were the owner I would cringe every time I the C word in a review, I'm going to be nice and not even say it. This is Panzerotti, Panzerotti, Panzerotti. Even if they offer to bake it for you, it's not one of those Ricotta filled blasphemy's.
Super awesome girl taking orders and bringing out the food. Was like they read my mind, didn't serve me the two I ordered together. Brought me one and when I was close to finishing, the other came out. Perhaps this was just a necessity in making and filling the orders, but it worked for me. I had to order a 3rd for the road. When I asked about how spicy the Jalapeño honey one was she was very careful about calling it being conscientious of the different sensitivities people has to spice. She did provide enough detail that allowed me to make the call and I am happy I did so. Sweet with a relatively mild spice and very tasty.
If your like to indulge your taste buds, don't get a slice somewhere, pick up a Panzerotti. If I had known this place existed, I would have been there 9 months ago. It just so happened I was reminiscing about my early days at my mom's office in downtown Toronto and how I used to love the Panzerotti place and thought I should be able to find one in New York. Yelped it and viola only 7 blocks from my office.
The only thing that could be problematic was the price. One is just not quite big enough and they are $8 each. So either they need to make them a little bigger, stuff them more or give you 2 for no more than $12. Having 2 with a drink for $18 is not an ideal lunch cost. -

We were walking by one afternoon and the building is so cute, so we decided to check it out. I had the ham and cheese and my friend had the eggplant parm. Both were crispy and delicious. They start you out with paprika chips while you wait for the food and those were flavorful and fresh. Ate those right up.
This was my first big panzerotti and i loved it. It was hot, cheesy and very tasty. Would def come back and recommend. -

At the time I went, they were offering half sized panzerottis. Just a warning that these take longer to make than regular size:
- The pepperoni was pretty good. It's a nice spin on a regular pizza slice.
- The parma ham was really good. The ingredients here paired well with the bounce of the panzerotti.
- The pistachio was surprisingly also good too. I never thought the pistachio cream and mascarpone cheese would taste good together, but it worked.
- The nutella was my least favorite mostly because I am not a huge fan of nutella. I definitely prefer the pistachio over this if you're looking for something that's mildly sweet. -

I had a great experience here. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients and very delicious. I ordered panzerotti and my friend ordered pizza. Both were backed to perfection.

Looking for a quick filling bite then this is your spot. Somewhere between a calzone and an empanada one of these is a full meal The one I got had ham, cheese and mushrooms. They make them fresh to order and it's not too much dough. It is fried vs baked so be warned. You can get them half sized which is the size for the dessert ones. They also have some nice Italian like sodas to go with and fresh potato chips on the menu.
No tables but counters to eat in so take it to go and head to a park
